Medigo provides transportation to patients with medical appointments in Nanaimo and Gabriola Island.
Medigo provides transportation to patients with medical appointments in Nanaimo on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and soon expanding to Thursdays. Thursdays they provide transportation to medical appointments on Gabriola Island. They pick folks up at their doors -and ensure they get home either using their service or a partnership service.
Riders with medical appointments travel for free with a TAPS form provided by physicians at the clinic. Or the cost of one passenger fare on BC Ferries ($10.80) if not eligible for a TAP form.
Medigo is a service offered to Gabriola residents young, old, and everyone in between. Medigo is working in partnership with Drivers to doctors, Gertie (local bus service) and Gabriola Taxi.
