Supports palliative clients, their families and caregivers before, during and after death.
Palliative Care Clinic on the Peninsula offers a 10-bed in-patient palliative care unit at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital.
The clinic, staffed with a Palliative Care Physician, Nurse, and Counsellor, is for ambulatory patients living with a life-limiting illness and having complex or difficult pain or symptoms, including psychosocial support needs.
Limitations: The clinic is limited to the Peninsula Health Unit community.
