The Cormorant Island Health Centre provides a variety of services in one location for the community and surrounding area, including:
  • Emergency Department
  • Acute Care
  • Long-Term Care
  • Ambulatory Outpatient Services
  • Laboratory: Click HERE to book an appointment at the Cormorant Island lab. If you are unable or require assistance to do so, please call the Laboratory Call Centre (1-866-370-8355)
  • X-Ray: A physician or nurse practitioner requisition is required for all diagnostic tests including radiology (X-ray)
  • Palliative Care
  • Emergency Obstetrics
  • Visiting Specialists
  • Medical Detox

Cormorant Island Health Centre Hours of Operation:
  • Health Centre: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Laboratory: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM, closed statutory holidays
  • X-Ray (Radiology): Every Wednesday from 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM. Walk-ins welcome; no appointment necessary
