Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) - West Kelowna

Provides same-day care for non-life-threatening conditions.
The West Kelowna Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) can address medical needs that require same-day attention. If you do not have a family doctor, or you are unable to get an appointment with your care provider that day, you can visit the UPCC. Depending on the nature of your injury or illness, you may be seen by a physician, a nurse practitioner, a registered nurse, or another health professional. Team-based care is available at the West Kelowna UPCC for urgent, non-life threatening illnesses or injuries that need attention within 12-24 hours.

No appointment is needed to access the Urgent and Primary Care Centre. Drop in and booked appointments are available. If you need the option of a booked appointment, this may be accommodated by calling 250-469-6010.

The UPCC can be used is an individual is experiencing:
  • Sprains and strains
  • Cuts, wounds or skin conditions
  • High fever
  • Infections, including chest, ear and urinary tract
  • Asthma attacks
  • New or worsening pain
  • Dehydration/constipation
  • Less serious child illness and injury
